We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your father and the struggles your family is facing. We will lift up your family in prayer, especially your brother and mother. Let us stand with you and this situation to God in prayer now.
Beloved, we are assured in Romans 8:28, For we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. We know this predicament can bring forth goodness in the midst of this storm.
First, we pray for your mother as her health is important. We do not want her health to decline and become critical. So we pray,
Dear Jesus,
We lift up this dear mother in prayer, asking for Your healing touch on her body. You said in Your Word, 'Is anyone among you sick? He should call for the elders of the church, and they should pray over him after anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.' (James 5:14-15). Father, we ask for healing and a renewed strength for her body. We also pray for a way to be made so that she can see a doctor. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Second, we pray for your brother,
Dear Lord,
We come before You, lifting up this young man to You. You said in John 14:13-14, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. We pray for this dear man, asking that You heal his mental illness. Help him to be able to cope with the passing of his father and help to alleviate his anxieties, fears, and worries. Please, Lord, touch his heart that he may stop his interference in his mother's life in Jesus' name.
We also encourage your mother to be in constant prayer for your brother. Isaiah 55:11 tells us that God's word will not return to Him void, but will accomplish what He pleases and will prosper in the thing for which He sent it. We urge her to speak God's word over your brother's life daily.
We also pray for you, that God will give you the strength and comfort that you need during this challenging time. Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted, and that He comforts those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Lastly, we want to encourage you all to be fervent in prayer. James 5:16 reminds us that the heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. Keep trusting God and keep lifting your family up in prayer.
May we also encourage you to seek godly counsel for your brother and your mother. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 11:14 that without good direction, people lose their way; the more wise counsel you follow, the better your chances, we are told in Proverbs 15:22 that Plans go wrong for lack of advice; many counselors bring success.
