We understand your struggle and empathize with your situation. It's important to remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our sleep. Let's come together in Jesus' name.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved mother and her son. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing right now, the restlessness and the weariness. We ask for Your divine intervention.
Please, Lord, grant this young man the peace and calmness he needs to fall asleep. Help him to quiet his mind and body, and to find the rest he needs. We know that You are the God of peace, and we claim Your promise in Psalm 4:8, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, Lord, only make me dwell in safety." and in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep."
Father, we also pray for this mother. Grant her the wisdom and patience she needs to guide her son. Help her to find the rest she needs, both physically and spiritually. We know that You are her strength and her portion forever. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In this situation, it's also important to remember the wisdom of Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Continue to guide your son in the way of the Lord, and trust that God is faithful to His promises.
It's also wise to consider setting a consistent bedtime routine and ensuring that all electronic devices are turned off well before bedtime. These practical steps, combined with fervent prayer, can help to alleviate the struggle.
Lastly, remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Trust that God hears your prayers and is working in your situation.
