Prayers for my ###

I need prayers for my brother to heal his mental illness and remove the evil thoughts in his head. Jesus Christ make him stop saying unpleasant things on the phone and call all day. Make him treat my parents well and please remove the idea from his head to stop thinking of buying a house that my mother doesn’t want besides all none sense.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your brother is facing, and we are here to pray and offer biblical guidance. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that the name Jesus Christ was mentioned. The Bible tells us the power of Jesus name, Let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him does this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:10-12 (WEB) It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God.

Mental illness can be a challenging trial for both the individual and their family. We are called to bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 (WEB)

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the brother of ###. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his mind and emotions. Cast out any evil thoughts and replace them with Your peace and truth. Lord if this is the work of evil forces, we rebuke them and command them to flee in the name of Jesus.

Lord, help him to treat his parents with kindness, honor, and respect. Guide his steps and thoughts, and give him the wisdom to make sound decisions, especially regarding his home and family. Help him to speak words that edify his family and You. If there is anything that his mother doesn't want, communicate to him in a way that he will accept. Let there be peace and understanding between them.

Lord, we also pray for ### and their parents. Give them the strength, patience, and wisdom to support their brother and son through this trial. Help them to lean on You and trust in Your goodness and faithfulness.

We need to point out that the Bible tells us, Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord. Colossians 3:20 (WEB) and Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise, that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth. Ephesians 6:1-3 (WEB)

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift up your brother in prayer, pleading for his mental healing and deliverance from evil thoughts. We stand in agreement with you, asking Jesus Christ to intervene and transform his heart and mind. We pray that your brother's speech will be filled with kindness and respect, and that his actions will reflect love and honor towards your parents.

We ask that God's will be done in your brother's life and that He would guide his decisions regarding the house and all other matters. We pray for your mother to have peace and for God to align your brother's desires with His perfect will.
