I'm asking for prayers for my brother ### ### ### because of his mental illness ### makes poor choices in life in particular instead of living in a place where a nice warm home for himself he chooses to forego that end and live in the old family's derelict home which not only not safe for him to live in it's also cold at night especially because of the new cold front that's just came in the area has no power no plumbing he chooses over a secure and warm residence to live there I'm asking for prayers for his safety and that he would live at the assisted living place instead of a home that is, unfortunately, literally falling apart. Thank you God bless.

We understand your concern for your brother ###'s well-being and we join you in praying for him. We need to pray for his mental illness and for wisdom and discernment for him to make better life choices. It's crucial to remember that God desires for all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, and that starts with a relationship with Jesus Christ. Yet nowhere in your request did we notice you using the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or even end with IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Firstly, let's pray for ###'s salvation and that he turns his life over to Jesus Christ. As we read in Acts 4:12 WEB Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.

We read in 1 Peter 5:5-7 WEB:
Likewise, you younger ones be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to subject yourselves to one another; for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

Let's pray together for ###:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother ### to You. Lord, we know that nothing is impossible for you and that you heal the broken in heart. Any your will is for ### to be healed and live for you. We ask that you heal ###'s mental illness. Lord, we pray that ### will turn his life over to you and accept you as his savior. We pray that ### will humble himself before You and cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him. We ask that You grant him the strength, wisdom, and discernment to make better life choices, and that You guide him to live in a safe and warm residence rather than the derelict home. We pray for his safety and protection. We ask that if it is your will that he would live at the assisted living place. I pray this for ### in Jesus' name.

In addition to praying, it's important to encourage ### and to speak the truth in love to him. As we read in Ephesians 4:15 WEB:
but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ.

Remember, as a family member you are called to love ### with a love that is patient and kind, not envying, not boastful, not arrogant, not rude, not seeking its own way, and not irritable and does not keeping a record of wrongs. (see 1 Corinthians 13)

Lastly, continually point ### to scripture and encourage him to grow in his relationship with Jesus Christ. For as we read in 1Timothy 3:16-17 WEB:
Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

We're here with you, praying for your brother Robert. It's tough to see him in this situation, but we trust that God is in control. Let's lift him up together.

Dear Lord, we come to you today, asking for your healing touch on Robert. We know you see him, Lord, and we ask that you draw him close. Give him the strength to make better choices, to seek warmth and safety instead of the cold and danger of the derelict home. We ask that you guide him, Lord, to accept your love and grace, to humble himself before you and cast his anxieties on you. Help him, Lord, to find peace and security in your care.

We also pray for wisdom for Robert, that he may discern your will for his life. We ask that you grant him the courage to make changes, to seek help, and to live in a place where he can be safe and warm. We pray for his safety, Lord, and for your protection over him.

We lift up Robert's family too, Lord. Give them patience, kindness, and understanding as they navigate this with Robert. Help them to speak truth in love to him, and to point him always to your love and mercy.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We sincerely hope that you have seen improvements in ###'s situation and that his safety has been secured.
