I need prayers for my brother as his attacks are not better. His mental illness seems to be worsening. Today he called me to give my passport information for him to book me a ticket. I refused to give the information and he had an attack of anger and hung up on me and called twice and went to sleep I assume. I was concerned he wouldn’t allow my mom to call me again but lucky she called. Just Christ please heal his violent thoughts and mental illness and help us to endure it.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your brother are facing. Mental illness is a serious issue, and it's important to approach it with both prayer and practical steps. We will pray for your brother's healing and for your family's endurance, but it's also crucial to ensure everyone's safety. Firstly, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family and the brother who is suffering from mental illness. Lord, you tell us in your word that you are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. We ask for your healing touch on his mind and his emotions. Cast out any spirits of anger, violence, and confusion, and replace them with your peace and clarity.

We also pray for the family. Grant them wisdom, patience, and endurance as they support their brother. Protect them from any harm and give them the love and unity needed to face this challenge together.

We also pray for the requestor who did not include Jesus in their prayer, we hope that you know, we only have access to God through Jesus Christ.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. Hold onto this promise as you navigate this difficult time.

It's also important to seek professional help. Mental illness is a complex issue that often requires medical intervention. Don't hesitate to reach out to mental health professionals for advice and support.

Lastly, consider these words from Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." This is a time for your family to come together, support each other, and bear this burden together.

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come to You today, lifting up this family and your brother who's going through a hard time. We claim Your promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We ask for Your strength and peace to fill him, to calm his mind and heart. Help him to find relief from these violent thoughts and mental illness.

We also pray for the family, for unity and understanding. Help each of you to love and support each other, just as You love us. Give them wisdom to navigate this situation, and protect them all from harm.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep trusting in God's care. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working even when you can't see it. Remember, He's always by your side, ready to help (Hebrews 13:5-6). And remember, it's okay to seek professional help too. It's a sign of strength, not weakness.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
