I'm asking for prayers for my brother ### ### ### because of his mental illness ### makes poor choices in life in particular instead of living in a place where a nice warm home for himself he chooses to forego that end and live in the old family's derelict home which not only not safe for him to live in it's also cold at night especially because of the new cold front that's just came in the area has no power no plumbing he chooses over a secure and warm residence to live there I'm asking for prayers for his safety and that he would live at the assisted living place instead of a home that is, unfortunately, literally falling apart.

We understand your concern and heartache for your brother ###'s situation, and we join you in lifting him up in prayer. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God is able and willing to help ###, as it says in Matthew 19:26 WEB:

with God all things are possible.

As believers, we should pray for ###'s mental illness, for his safety and that he would be guided to make wise and safe decisions. We pray that ### will know and understand that God has a better way for him to live than in a derelict home.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, to lift up ### to You. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing, both mentally and physically, as he chooses to live in an unsafe and unsuitable environment. We ask, Father, that You touch ###'s heart and mind, and help him to discern that this is not a safe situation. Guide him to make better decisions for himself and to seek out the help that he needs. Help his family to show him love and to help him to move to a safe and secure place to live.

We rebuke any mental illness, confusion, and fear that may be influencing ###'s decisions, and we pray for clarity and wisdom. We ask that You provide for ###'s needs, both physically and spiritually, and that You guide him to the resources and support he needs.

Lord, we also pray for ###, that You would give them peace, wisdom, and guidance as they support their brother. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your will in this situation.

Father, we ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to You, and it is by His name that we are saved. We thank You for hearing our prayers, and we ask that You bless ### and ### as they navigate this difficult situation, and that You give them hope, peace and your guidance.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift up your brother ### ### in our prayers, trusting that God is watching over him and working in his situation. We are grateful that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in this, and we believe that our collective prayers are heard by our Heavenly Father.

If you have seen improvements in ###'s situation and he has moved to a safer and warmer living environment, we would love for you to share that praise report with us. Let us rejoice together in God's goodness and faithfulness.
