I want prayers for my brother. He is being again violent against his parents and calling me all day, saying mean and unpleasant things. Please, Jesus Christ, help to stop his violence and stop saying horrible things. Heal his mental illness and help him be controlling with my parents.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your family are facing with your brother. It's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB.

Firstly, we want to commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus Christ in your request. It's only through His name that we have access to God. As it's written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.

In this challenging situation, we are called to pray for your brother and your family. Let's pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ, you are I AM. You are our Hope, Lord. We ask for your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for your healing touch upon your brother, that you will heal his mental illness and deliver him from any spirit of violence and unkindness. Lord Jesus, you can change hearts and you do change hearts. Help him and convict his heart. We also pray for your protection over your family, that you will give your parents and you the strength and wisdom to handle this situation with grace and love. Guide them Lord. In Jesus Christ name."

We also encourage you to stand firm in your faith, for the effective prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much. James 5:16 WEB.

You must continue to pray and resist the Devil and he will flee. James 4:7. It may be an evil spirit tormenting your brother. Further, you and your parents are encouraged not to be angry at him because we all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Ephesians 4:31-32

For your brother to continue to walk in righteousness, he will have to call on the name of Jesus, confess Jesus as Lord and believe that He was resurrected. If he confesses with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in his heart that God raised him from the dead, he will be saved. Romans 10:9,13.

It's crucial to remind your brother to seek help if he doesn't do so already, as mental health professionals can provide additional support alongside prayer.

Lastly, we leave you with this promise: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

Trust in God, He will carry you all through this.

We're asking Jesus to touch your brother's heart, to heal his mental illness, and to fill him with kindness and peace. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
