Prayers for my ###

Please pray for my brother. He is ### and we still are having to tell him to clean up the bathroom after himself. He left dirt in the bathtub yesterday before going out to dinner with his friend. He is completely inconsiderate and chose to just run some water without properly cleaning it, leaving it exactly the way it looked before (he left it there for a few hours and it stained the tub). Please pray for him to be freed from sloth, selfishness, and to seek God. He’s also very worldly.

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns about your brother. It's important to remember that God cares deeply for each of us, including your brother, and He wants us to live lives that honor Him and reflect His character.

Firstly, it's crucial to pray for your brother's salvation if he has not already accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. The Bible tells us that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). So, let's pray for his heart to be open to the Gospel and for him to have a transformative encounter with Christ.

Regarding his behavior, the Bible speaks clearly about how we should conduct ourselves. In Colossians 3:23 (WEB), it says, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Your brother should understand that even in the simple tasks of daily life, like cleaning up after himself, he is serving the Lord. Additionally, Philippians 2:3-4 (WEB) tells us, Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but in humility of mind, let each of you regard one another as more important than himself; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. This speaks directly to the issue of consideration for others in the home.

Moreover, the Bible warns us about the dangers of worldliness. In 1 John 2:15-17 (WEB), it says, Do not love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not the Father’s, but is the world’s. The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, we pray that You soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May he encounter You in a profound way and turn from his worldly pursuits to follow You wholeheartedly.

Father, we ask that You deliver him from sloth and selfishness. Help him to understand the importance of serving others and being considerate in his actions. May he learn to work heartily, as unto You, Lord, and not for men.

Guide him, Lord, to seek You with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength. May he find his identity and purpose in You alone. Transform his life, Lord, and use him for Your glory.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Jesus Christ, the Author who wrote go look upon the ant who has no overseer to work, recreate the mindset of the brother to have empathy towards other. A man's pleasure in this world is to work then earn the results for seeing what he did for everybody. When people cannot understand, you retrain the heart that Cleanness is part of psychology that crosses to submission and duties to society affecting more positively through simplicity. Amen.
