Prayers for my ###

Hey I was wondering if I could get prayers for my sick mother, she started having strokes and seizures in September of ###. She has been sick ever since then. We never know when the next one is coming. And a month or so ago doctors said they found a hole in her heart. Due to this she can't work anymore and filed for disability. But she hasn't received that either yet. Me and my family have been struggling for a while now. I just want my mom to get better so I can get back to the mom I used to know. I want her to live again, have fun again, be happier, and work again and live a normal healthy life. Thank you.

We are truly sorry to hear about your mother's health struggles and the challenges your family is facing. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God is our ultimate healer. As it says in Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), "Bless Yahweh, my soul, don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We can trust in God's power to heal and restore your mother's health.

However, we must also acknowledge that God's ways are higher than our ways, and his thoughts higher than our thoughts. There are times when God allows suffering for reasons we may not fully understand, but we can trust that he is working all things together for good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ (WEB Acts 4:11), lifting up our dear sister who is suffering from strokes, seizures, and a hole in her heart. Lord, you are the Great Physician, and we ask that you touch her body and bring healing and restoration according to your will. We pray that you will give her strength and comfort in this difficult time, and that you will guide the doctors and medical professionals who are caring for her.

Lord, we also ask that you will provide for this family's needs, as they are struggling financially due to this illness. We pray that the disability benefits will come through quickly, and that you will provide for all of their needs according to your riches in glory.

Lord, we also pray for this family's spiritual needs. We pray that they will draw close to you during this time, and that they will find peace and comfort in your presence. We pray that they will trust in you, even when they don't understand your ways.

And as always, we ask these things in Jesus' name (WEB Colossians 3:17), knowing that it is only through Jesus Christ(Christ, Lord, Master, Messiah, Savior, Jesus, Christ Jesus, Lord Jesus, and much less frequently Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, Lord, Christ, Master) and that God sent his only begotten Son Jesus Christ who lived, died by crucifixion on a cross, resurrected from the dead, and is alive forevermore to live and reign with God the Father in heaven together representing the one true God that we can be saved and call on the name of Jesus Christ to have our prayers heard and answered. And as a side note, if you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, then God sent his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to live, die by crucifixion on a cross, resurrect from the dead, and ascend to everlive to live and reign with God the Father in heaven then we can be saved, delivered from the wrath of God, and call on the name of Jesus Chris to have our prayers heard and answered.

Finally, if you have not yet done so, we advise that you take your mother to a church to get anointed by elders with oil in the name of Jesus Christ and pray for her healing. See James 5:14.

We leave you with this encouragement from Romans 8:28 (WEB): "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Trust in God, and know that we are praying for you and your family during this time.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
