Let's come together in prayer to approach our Heavenly Father, Who alone is the one that delivers us from evil, and Whose son is Jesus Christ. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven. Just remember that this is only possible if you believe in the Lord Jesus and do it in His name.
Firstly, we acknowledge and praise God for the presence of Jesus Christ in your request for prayer. As stated in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved." It is by the name of Jesus that we can approach God, for our battle is not against any flesh and blood but against the enemy. Our prayers therefore are presented to the throne of God with reassurance, that by the power of Jesus Christ, your brother will be delivered.
We see the real issue that you are facing. This individual is causing significant distress and harm to your family, and we must rebuke and address this situation. We are instructed by the word of God in John 10:10 WEB. The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. Jesus Christ came to save and not destroy.
We pray that God will rebuke the spirits of violence, chaos, and confusion that are manifesting in your brother's life. We pray that there will be a supernatural intervention of grace and mercy from God and Jesus Christ to free your brother from the bondage and torment of his mental issues and all the evil and crazy wicked ideas that he continually suffers and is making you suffer through. We stand in agreement with you, asking that the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, will bring peace to your brother's mind and heart, and peace and calm to the whole family situation in Jesus name.
No matter what circumstances we find ourselves and our loved ones in, we ought to remember Ephesians 6:11, 14-19, WEB: Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the spoken word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints. We encourage you to stay strong and courageous in the Power of Jesus Christ and His Word. Furthermore, we also pray for your neighbors, that God will grant them peace and understanding during these troubling times.
We encourage you to be in fellowship with other Christians who pray so that they can agree with you on this so you will have a whole prayer army of people to add to your petitions. Matthew 18:19-20, WEB: Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them. Otherwise, you could try to learn what prayers that the Holy Spirit will pray through your lips.
