I need prayers for my brother, who is having another attack again. He is screaming violently at my mother for buying him a brand of sheets he doesn’t like. Jesus Christ, please stop the violence and calm him from dark magic and anything that is causing this attack.

We should focus instead on prayers to remove any satanic forces that could be causing this situation.

First, let's address the immediate need for peace and safety. It is possible that your brother's behavior could be demonically influenced.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your intervention in this dire situation they are facing. We pray for your protection in the name of Jesus. Please stop the violence and bring peace in the name of Jesus. We agree together and command any demons causing this violence and unrest to flee in the name of Jesus. Jesus has given us the authority to tread over all the power of the enemy, and by His authority, we command peace and self-control over your brother in Jesus' name. We also pray for your brother's deliverance from any demonic influence if that is occurring and for his heart to be turned towards You as it needs to be. Touch his mind and emotions, and bring healing to his body. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for your peace to prevail. His mother has done something in love for him and he should not be lashing out at her. He needs to love and honor his mother as your word says:

Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you. Legitimate expectations are conducted based on Deuteronomy 5:16 WEB.

Please help your brother to align with Your will and bring harmony to their home as it needs to be. Surround him and the mother and everyone in the house with godly counsel and support that they all need.

We also pray for you, that God would fill you with His wisdom, discernment, and grace as you navigate this challenging time. Guide you with the words to say and the actions to take that would bring resolution. Show you the appropriate professional Christian help that is available that could be brought in. May you be a source of peace, comfort, and strength for your mother and walk together in Jesus' name.

In your prayers, there is an element of superstition that needs to be addressed. Praying against "dark magic" is not biblical but praying against satanic forces or demons is. Do not give Satan more credit than he deserves. Acknowledge his presence and his schemes but do not give him any more power than the Bible says.

Jesus Christ calls us to put on the full armor of God to stand against the schemes of the devil, not to focus on or pray against any dark magic.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 WEB

Let us trust in the power and authority of Jesus Christ, rebuking any demonic influence, and praying for God's will to be done in their becoming a functional and godly family together. Explicitly trusting in Jesus and his mighty name is what is needed. Show us if there is any more needed and pray for that in Jesus' name.
