I want prayers for my brother, who is mentally ill and is again having his anger attacks and is out of control. We have been cursed in the past by a family member by black magic rituals, and he is not Christian and absorbs all dark energy. Please, Jesus Christ, remove his dark energy and make him stop talking nonsense. It has been very hard to endure him.

Firstly, we want to address the mention of curses and black magic. As believers in Jesus Christ, we know that "there is no sorcery against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel" (Numbers 23:23 WEB). We should not fear such things, for "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).

However, it is crucial to pray for your brother's protection and deliverance from any form of evil. Let us pray:

"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, seeking Your divine intervention in our brother's life. You know the struggles he is facing, the anger, and the mental illness. We ask, Lord, that You would heal his mind and deliver him from all darkness. Rebuke any evil that may be influencing him, for 'the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil' (1 John 3:8 WEB).

We also pray for his heart, that it would be softened and opened to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We ask that You would remove any spiritual blindness, for 'the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them' (2 Corinthians 4:4 WEB). May he come to know the love and peace that can only be found in a relationship with You, Lord.

In the meantime, grant us the patience, wisdom, and love to endure and support him through this. Help us to be a light in his life, that he may see Your love reflected in us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Additionally, we encourage you to seek professional help for your brother's mental illness, alongside your prayers. God often works through the hands of skilled professionals.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that while we can pray to Jesus for our loved ones, it is important that each person makes their own decision to follow Christ. We can pray, we can share the Gospel, but we cannot force someone to believe. Keep trusting in God, keep praying, and keep loving your brother.
