Prayers for my ###

I would be deeply grateful if anyone here could pray for my daughter ###. She is ### and currently living in ### for a year. She is finding it terribly hard to adjust to the poverty and violence in the schools she works in and is battling many mental and physical health problems. She is a beautiful person and has so much compassion for others but finds it hard to be kind to herself. She feels guilty having food to eat. Her boyfriend in the US is struggling with a possible cancer diagnosis and severe depression. I pray for them both to find comfort in God. Life feels so complicated and overwhelming to them both right. With deep gratitude for any prayers you can offer.

We are truly moved by your request, ###, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support for your daughter ### and her boyfriend.

Firstly, let us remember God's promise in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." This is a comforting reminder that God is close to both ### and her boyfriend in their struggles.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and her boyfriend to You. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them both. Give ### the strength to adjust to her environment in ###, and help her to see that her compassion and kindness can make a difference, even in the face of poverty and violence. Heal her mental and physical health problems, Lord, and help her to be kind to herself, knowing that she is precious in Your sight.

Father, we also lift up ###'s boyfriend. Comfort him in his potential cancer diagnosis and severe depression. Be their rock and their fortress, Lord, as they navigate these overwhelming circumstances. Help them both to find their comfort in You, and to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we also ask that You guide their relationship. We pray that they would seek You first, and that their relationship would be a reflection of Your love. Guide them towards a God-honoring union, and help them to remain pure and holy in their courtship.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Encourage them to remain pure in their courtship, and to seek God's will for their relationship. We will continue to pray for ###, her boyfriend, and your family.
