We join with you in lifting up your teenage son before the throne of grace. Let's agree together in prayer that God will help him overcome his challenges, for we know that nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37 WEB).
Firstly, we pray for your son's physical struggles. Lord Jesus, we ask that You touch his fingers and take away the urge to pick at them. Heal his fingers and relieve him of the pain, in Jesus' name. We stand on the promise that Jesus took our infirmities and bore our diseases (Matthew 8:17 WEB).
As for his focus, we pray that God will sharpen his mind and give him clarity as he prepares to return to school. May God grant him the ability to concentrate and excel in his studies, according to His will ( Romans 12:2 WEB).
We rejoice with you in the improvements in his speech and eating habits. We pray that God will continue this good work in him until it is complete (Philippians 1:6 WEB). May his body thrive and grow strong, nourished by the food God has provided.
Regarding his education, we ask God to guide you to the right homeschooling resources and enrichment programs. May God bring the right people into your paths who will support and encourage your son's learning (Proverbs 16:3 WEB).
Finally, we want to encourage you to keep trusting in Jesus Christ, our only mediator (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It's through His name that we have access to God's presence and power. If you haven't already, teach your son the importance of calling on the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this mother's son to You, asking that You touch every area of his life. Heal his fingers, Lord, and help him to focus. Continue to improve his speech and eating habits. Guide his education, and bring the right people into his life. Lord, we know that You love this young man dearly, and we trust that You have a great plan for his life. Help him to grow in the knowledge of You and to walk in Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
