We understand your concern and desire for your soon-to-be husband's release from jail. However, we need to address several issues in your request to align with biblical principles.
Firstly, it is important to pray for your fiancรฉ's release, but we must also consider God's will and the lessons that God may want him to learn through this experience. Often, God allows trials to bring us closer to Him and to refine our character. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Secondly, you mentioned that you are living in sin with him. This is fornication which God forbids. It is wonderful that you desire marriage, which is the godly and righteous path for your relationship. As it is written in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." We encourage you to repent from this sin and commit to purity until marriage.
Lastly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ and to pray in His name.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up this woman and her fiancรฉ. Lord, we ask that You work in his life, even in his current circumstances. Help him to find true peace and freedom in You, not just physically, but spiritually as well. Deliver him from any demonic influences and make him into the man You created him to be.
We ask for Your forgiveness for their sin of fornication and pray that You would help them to live in purity until they are married. Give them the strength to resist temptation and to honor You in their relationship.
Lord, we ask that You guide them and give them a desire to know You more. Help them to grow in their faith and to become more like Jesus.
We pray that ultimately Your will be done in their lives and in their relationship. If it is Your will, Lord, we ask that You bring him home soon and that their marriage would be a testament to Your glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to study the Bible and to seek God's will for your lives. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
