We join with you in lifting up your sons to our Heavenly Father, trusting in His power to heal and restore their relationship.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ our Savior. We bring before You these two precious sons. We pray for our salvation and the salvation of others also. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to you.
Father, we ask You to remove the spirit of anger, jealousy, and resentment that has taken root in their hearts. Replace these with Your love, patience, and kindness. Help them to forgive each other as You have forgiven us. Remind them of Your words in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also forgave you."
Guide their steps in all areas of their lives. Give them wisdom and discernment to make decisions that align with Your will. Help them to seek You first in all they do, remembering Your promise in Matthew 6:33 WEB: "But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
We also agree and pray for their salvation. Draw them to Jesus Christ, that they may know and believe in Him as their Savior, and have eternal life. It is Your will that all should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4,5 WEB.
Thank you and we agree in Jesus' name that your will be done in their lives, giving You all the glory and honor. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers and is working in the lives of your sons. Continue to pray fervently and trust in His promises. Remember, our Father in heaven is not willing that any should perish 2 Peter 3:9. The book of James 5:16 WEB says, "Pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Keep praying and interceding for your loved ones.
