We join you, dear anonymous, in praying for your sons, especially Thomas, and we thank you for bringing your concerns to us. Let us approach God's throne with confidence, as we are instructed in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we praise God that you desire for Thomas to accept Jesus as his Savior. We stand with you in this, claiming God's promise in Acts 16:31, "They said, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.'" We pray, dear Heavenly Father, that You would soften Thomas' heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Grant him the gift of faith to trust in Jesus Christ alone for his salvation, in Jesus' name.
We also pray for protection over both your sons. As it says in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels, protecting them from all harm and danger.
Moreover, we pray for their spiritual growth. From 2 Peter 3:18, we read, "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." Lord, we ask that You would nourish their spirits, helping them to grow strong in their faith and knowledge of You. May they become men of God, walking in Your ways.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue interceding for your sons, as James 5:16 tells us, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results." Trust that God hears your prayers and is at work in their lives.
In all these things, we pray that God's will be done, and we trust that He loves your sons even more than you do. We praise God for your maternal heart that beats with love and concern for your children, and we stand with you in Jesus' name. Amen.
