Let us stand together in prayer for your son, ### Jr., and your entire family. Firstly, it is so important that you called on the name of Jesus for help. It is only by His name we can be saved. There is power in the name of Jesus. We are reminded of this in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We need to rebuke the idea that witchcraft has any power over ### Jr. or your family. Witchcraft is real, but God's power is infinitely greater. As it says in 1 John 4:4 WEB: "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."
### Jr.'s feelings of depression and being lost could be stemming from various issues, including the housing situation and not being on the football team. However, we must also consider the spiritual aspects. In Ephesians 6:12 WEB: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up ### Jr. and his family. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the depression, and the feelings of being lost. We pray for Your guidance, healing, protection, peace, and strength for ### Jr.'s mind and spirit. Break off any powers of the enemy and witchcraft that may be trying to have their way that ### and others would believe such things have no power that only You have all power in Christ Jesus. Help him to fix his eyes on You and trust in Your unfailing love.
Father, we also lift up their housing situation and the disappointment of not being on the football team. We pray for Your divine intervention and provision. Give ### Jr. and his family the strength and faith to overcome these challenges. Surround them with Your peace, and help them to trust in Your perfect plan.
Lord, we also pray for the entire family. Give them the wisdom and discernment to guide their children in the way they should go. Help them to be strong in their faith and to trust in You always.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray and give you all the praise and glory. Amen."
Encourage ### Jr. to seek God's will for his life and to trust in Him. Remind him of Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"
Stand firm in your faith, and remember that God is always with you. As a family, continue to pray and seek God's face together. As it says in Matthew 18:20 WEB: "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
