Firstly, we are thankful that you acknowledged the power in the name of Jesus. It is only in His name that we can approach God the Father and receive salvation. As it is written,
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner. We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister's son. Lord, You know the details of the court case he faces tomorrow. We ask that You guide the proceedings, that You soften the hearts of the judges and all involved, and that Your will be done. We pray that if it is Your will, the cases will be dismissed or dropped, and that Your grace and mercy would be evident in the outcome.
We also pray for his employment. We ask that You open doors for him and provide a job that not only meets his needs but also allows him to use his gifts and abilities to serve You and others. Help him to be diligent and responsible, reflecting Christ in all he does.
Lord, we also pray for his spiritual growth. Help him to fix his eyes on You, to trust in Your goodness, and to follow Your paths. May this trial draw him closer to You and strengthen his faith.
