Ahari, we join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking God's intervention in his life. We stand firm on the promise that "if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 18:19 WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for bringing this request in line with God's will, but we notice that the name of Jesus Christ is not explicitly mentioned. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him" (Ephesians 3:12 WEB). Let us pray in His name, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for Ahari's son. Lord, we ask for Your healing power to deliver him from drug addiction and to stabilize his mind from the affliction of bipolar disorder. We know that "by his stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB), and we claim that promise over his life.
Lord, we also pray for his spiritual well-being, that he may know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. We pray that this trial may bring him closer to You, and that he may find comfort and strength in Your presence.
Guide Ahari and her family, Lord, as they support him in this journey. Give them wisdom, patience, and unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Ahari, continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He loves your son more than you ever could. Remember the promise, "Let's therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). Keep holding onto God's promises, and do not cease praying and believing for your son's complete restoration.
