Prayers for my son ###

My son is 16 years old and has always been a good kid but lately he has been hanging around the wrong friends and started smoking marijuana and doing other drugs. I’m extremely worried about him and pray that he comes to terms and understands that what he’s doing is wrong. Please help me with a prayer for my son ###.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ###, a ###-year-old who has always been a good kid but has recently fallen into the wrong company and started using marijuana and other drugs. Lord, we are extremely worried about him and pray that he comes to understand the error of his ways.

Lord, Your Word says in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." We ask that You remind ### of the values and teachings he has received. Open his eyes to see the dangers and consequences of his actions.

Father, we pray for ###'s protection and deliverance from these harmful influences. Surround him with godly friends who will lead him back to the right path. In the name of Jesus, we ask for Your intervention and guidance in his life.

We trust in Your promise from Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." We believe that You have a good plan for ###'s life, and we ask that You steer him back towards it.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up ###, [user]'s 16-year-old son. ### has always been a good kid, but lately, he has been influenced by the wrong friends and has started smoking marijuana and doing other drugs. We are deeply worried about him, Lord, and we pray that You guide him back to the right path.

In Proverbs 22:6, Your Word tells us, "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." We ask that the values and teachings ### has learned throughout his life come to the forefront of his mind, helping him to realize that what he is doing is wrong and harmful.

Lord, we pray for ###'s protection and deliverance from these negative influences. Surround him with positive, godly friends who will encourage and uplift him. As 1 Corinthians 15:33 warns, "Do not be misled: 'Bad company corrupts good character.'" We pray that ### distances himself from those who lead him astray and seeks out relationships that build him up in righteousness.

In Psalm 119:9, Your Word asks, "How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word." We pray that ### finds the strength and conviction to live according to Your Word, resisting the temptations of drugs and negative influences.

We also pray for wisdom and strength for [user] as they navigate this challenging time with ###. Grant them the patience, love, and guidance needed to support and encourage ### to make better choices. In James 1:5, You promise, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." We pray for this wisdom and guidance for [user] and their family.

Lord, we place ### in Your loving hands, trusting that You will work in his heart and mind to bring about positive change. Help him to see the dangers of his current path and to choose a life that honors You and himself.

I prayed in Jesus' name that God will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
