We join together in lifting up your son Tom to our Heavenly Father, pleading for the powerful and transformative work of the Holy Spirit in his life.
Firstly, we pray that Tom may come to know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ if he hasn't already. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that Tom may confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in his heart that God raised him from the dead, for that is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9, WEB).
We petition the Lord for Tom's complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. We trust in the power of Jesus' name, for it is by his stripes that we are healed (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We ask for wisdom for Tom and for the medical professionals involved in his care, that they may make decisions aligned with God's will.
We also uphold Tom in prayer regarding his future companion. We ask, dear Lord, that You would bless him with a godly wife, one who is aligned with Your will and purposes. We pray that their marriage would be a reflection of Christ and the church, built on love, respect, and mutual submission, as described in Ephesians 5:22-33 (WEB).
We encourage you to continue interceding for Tom, trusting in the promise of James 5:16 (WEB), "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results."
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we bring Tom before Your throne of grace. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to him, heal him, and bless him with a godly spouse in Your timing. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.*
In the meantime, may you find peace and comfort in knowing that God is faithful, and that His love and care for Tom exceed far beyond what we could ever ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20, WEB).
