Prayers for my son ### for depression I believe it's caused from not being able to get a job in his field. Has not heard back from any interviews. Prayers for God's favor and someone will give him a chance and hire him soon. Thank you

We understand your concern for your son ### and we join you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in his life. Let us remember the words of King David, who cried out to the Lord in his distress, "Why are you in despair, O my soul? Hope in God; for I shall still praise him, my salvation and my God." (Psalm 42:11 WEB)

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the heaviness in his heart and the struggle he faces with depression. We ask that You comfort him and remind him of Your unfailing love for him. Lord, we believe that this depression is linked to his job search, and we ask that You open the right doors for him. Let Your favor rest upon him and grant him an opportunity to work in his field. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness, and we proclaim that ### is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37 WEB).*

###, we encourage you to continue supporting ### and reminding him of God's promises. Share with him the words of Jeremiah, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)

Additionally, remind ### that God has a purpose and a plan for his life, and that even in this trying time, God is working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28 WEB). Urge him to trust in the Lord and lean not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB).

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB). It is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB), and there is no other name given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9 WEB).
