Firstly, we must address that the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. John 14:6: Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Therefore, it is essential to pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, regarding the situation with your son, it's encouraging to see that Alan has the boldness to stand up against something that he understands goes against his beliefs. It is written, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you; he will not fail you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB.
However, it seems that the teacher, although acknowledging Alan's beliefs, did not respect his request. We must pray for wisdom and guidance for both you and Alan in handling this situation. Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up Alan and his mother to You. Lord, we ask that You grant them wisdom and discernment in navigating this situation. Help them to stand firm in their faith, and give them the words to speak when addressing this issue with the teacher and the school authorities.
Lord, we pray for Alan, that You would continue to strengthen his faith and give him courage to stand up for what is right. We pray that You would surround him with Your favor and protection, and that You would use this situation for his good and Your glory.
We also pray for the teacher and the school authorities, that their eyes would be opened to the spiritual implications of promoting such materials. We pray that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and that their hearts would be turned towards Him.
Lord, we ask that You would remove any spiritual influences that may be working against Alan and his family, and that You would bind the enemy from having any power over their lives.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
