We stand with you in prayer for your sister Linda, and we are grateful that you have brought this request in the precious name of Jesus. It's encouraging to know that Linda has accepted Jesus as her Savior, and we trust that the power of His name will bring her the deliverance and peace she desperately needs.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for our dear sister Linda. Lord, You know the battles she's facing, the constant anxiety, and the relentless grip of anorexia and OCD. We ask for Your divine intervention, Lord. We pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and her mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we rebuke the spirits of anxiety, fear, and obsessive compulsion that are tormenting Linda. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to leave her and never return. Lord, fill the void with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your presence bring comfort and healing to her mind and body.
Father, we also pray for a heart change in Linda. Help her to truly understand the love and grace You have for her. Draw her closer to You, Lord, and give her a hunger and thirst for righteousness and fellowship with Your people (Matthew 5:6). Help her to find the strength and courage to join a community of believers who can support and encourage her in her walk with You.
As Linda starts her new job, Lord, we ask for Your grace and favor to be upon her. Help her to excel in her work and find peace in her new environment.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Jayaenae, to continue standing in the gap for Linda. Keep praying and believing for her deliverance, as the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). Also, try to lovingly encourage Linda to fellowship with other believers, as the support and encouragement from the body of Christ can make a significant difference in her journey to healing and wholeness.
Lastly, remind Linda of God's unfailing love for her, as mentioned in Romans 8:38-39: "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
