Hello please pray for my fiance to love me in a more Christ-like way

we have been struggling lately with getting along and loving one another in the healthy way that we should. I plan to marry him soon and I need prayers for us to become stronger and more Christ-centered. I love him very much and don't want this relationship to fall apart so your prayers are much appreciated! Thanks

We are glad to join you in prayer and offer biblical guidance for your relationship. We commend you for your desire to have a more Christ-like love and a Christ-centered relationship.

Firstly, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister and her fiancé. We ask, Lord, that You would work in their relationship, drawing them closer to You and to each other. Help them to love each other with a pure, selfless love that reflects the love of Christ. Strengthen their bond, and guide them as they prepare for marriage. Lord, we know that You can make their relationship what you designed marriages to be. We pray this for Your Glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Now, let's look at some biblical principles for your relationship.

First, it's important to understand that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. It's encouraging to hear that you plan to marry, and we pray that your marriage will be a strong, Christ-centered union.

In Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB, husbands are called to love their wives just as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it. This is a selfless, sacrificing love that puts the needs of the other person above their own. Both of you should strive to love each other in this way.

Also, in Colossians 3:12-14 WEB, we are called to put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving each other. If either of you has wronged the other, be quick to forgive, just as Christ forgave you.

Now, it's important to address that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it's through His death and resurrection that we are saved. If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.

Lastly, we encourage you to seek premarital counseling from a pastor or a trusted Christian mentor. This can help you to prepare for marriage and to address any issues that may be causing tension in your relationship.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You.
