We hear your heart's cry for your brother and your family, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend you for bringing your request in Jesus' name. As Jesus says in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is indeed through Jesus that we have access to the Father.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who is struggling with the effects of autism. We ask for Your healing touch upon his mind and body. We pray that You would give him understanding and the ability to function beyond his current limitations. We also ask for wisdom and strength for his family, that they may know how to care for him and love him as You do. We claim the promise in Matthew 19:26 (WEB), 'With God all things are possible.' Please, Lord, enable him to live a fulfilling life, and help his family to find peace and joy in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also want to encourage you and your family. Remember, God loves your brother dearly, just as he is. Psalm 139:13-14 (WEB) tells us, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." God has a purpose for your brother's life, and He is faithful to see it through.
In times of difficulty, it's important to remember that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). While it's okay to hope for a miracle, also pray for God's grace and strength to handle the challenges that come your way.
Lastly, we urge you to continue seeking God together as a family. It's encouraging to see your desire for a normal family life, but remember, God can turn even the most challenging situations into opportunities for growth and testimony. Keep trusting in Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We stand with you in prayer and belief that God is working in your brother's life and in your family. Keep holding onto Jesus, for He is the source of our hope and strength.
