We are grateful to join you, Thetiogh, in praying for your nephew. It's encouraging to see your faith in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, let's remember what Galatians 5:22-23 tells us about the fruit of the Spirit: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Patience is indeed a fruit of the Spirit, and we pray that your nephew will be filled with the Holy Spirit, manifesting this fruit in his life.
Concerning his struggle with addictions, we are reminded of 1 Corinthians 6:12: "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything." We pray that your nephew will understand that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), and that he will have the strength to break free from these addictions, with God's help.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Thetiogh's nephew to You. Lord, we ask that You fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may manifest the fruit of patience in his life. We also pray for his deliverance from all addictions. Give him the strength to resist temptations, and help him to understand the value and sanctity of his body as Your temple. We claim victory over these struggles in Jesus' mighty name. Amen."
We encourage you, Thetiogh, to continue praying fervently for your nephew. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 17:20: "Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have the faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." Keep believing and trusting in the power of God.
Lastly, we commend you for ending your request with "In Jesus' name. Amen." It is so important to remember that our prayers are effective when offered in the name of Jesus, as He Himself taught us (John 14:13-14). Keep holding onto this truth.
