We are here with you, Rheolor, to lift up your mother Lydia in prayer. We pray for her healing and comfort, trusting in God's goodness and mercy. We also take this opportunity to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. All prayers to God the Father must be in Jesus Christ Name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. If you have never called on the name of Jesus Christ as your Savior, we encourage you to do so now.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lydia to You. You tell us in Your Word that You are the God who heals us. In Psalm 103:2-3 WEB it says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on Lydia's body and mind. We pray that You would give her peaceful sleep and restore her mind, and bring a return to normal conversation.
In Matthew 11:28 WEB Jesus said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Lord, we ask for Your supernatural rest and peace upon both Lydia and Rheolor, as well as the entire family and loved ones. We pray for Your comfort and strength to sustain them during this time. Rheolor, please read the following verses and stand in faith believing.
Isaiah 53:5 WEB But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
1 Peter 2:24 WEB He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.
God, we pray for Your will upon Lydia and we ask for wisdom and guidance for the family and the medical professionals attending to her.
Finally, we pray for Rheolor's faith to be strengthened, knowing that You are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 WEB
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior.
Amen
