We are truly sorry to hear about your mom's health, and we are here to pray and offer support during this challenging time. First, we want to remind you that God is always with us, even in our most difficult moments. As it says in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (WEB)
In times of illness, we can turn to God for healing and comfort. We pray that God will touch your mom's body and bring healing and restoration. As believers, we are called to pray for one another, and we trust that God hears our prayers. James 5:14-15 (WEB) tells us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
However, we must also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9, WEB). Sometimes, God uses illness to draw us closer to Him and to accomplish His purposes in our lives. Even in the midst of suffering, we can trust that God is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up the mother of our friend who has requested prayer. Lord, You know the details of her situation, and You are always faithful to hear our prayers. We ask that You touch her body and bring healing and restoration. Give her strength and courage to face each day, and surround her with Your love and peace.
We also pray for our friend, that You would comfort and encourage them during this time. Help them to trust in You and to rest in Your sovereign will. In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will for your mom's health. Trust that He is always with you, and that He hears your prayers and also remember to thank God for the answer as if it has already occurred because ensured healing has already been paid for by the cross of Jesus. Keeping our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
