Prayers for my life to turn around

I am feeling down. I don't have a job currently and I am feeling very frustrated by the job market. I was rejected for all of the jobs I applied to yesterday. It really sucks. I am not married at this time either and I feel like I look unattractive because of broken capillaries around my nose. I feel very sad as I haven't had a man ask me out in ages. I feel a bit down and like giving up on this. There is one man I think about a lot but, I don't know how he feels about me. He is Christian and I am wondering about saying something. But I am also not confident about doing that because rejection can hit me hard. I haven't gained a job. I feel so down. And now I have to try again but my motivation is just gone. In the name of Jesus I wish to have peace and happiness and also a job soon..I am very depressed.

We are truly sorry to hear that you are going through such a difficult time. It's important to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He is always with you, even in the midst of your struggles.

Firstly, let's address the feelings of depression and hopelessness. The Bible tells us, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22 WEB). It's crucial to cast all your cares upon God and trust that He will sustain you during this time.

Regarding your job situation, remember that God has a plan for you. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Keep persevering and trusting in His timing. "Let your patience endure; this is also a work for your souls" (James 1:21 WEB).

Concerning your feelings about your appearance and relationships, it's important to remember that true beauty comes from within. "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised" (Proverbs 31:30 WEB). God sees your heart, and that is what truly matters.

As for the man you have feelings for, it's wise to be patient and prayerful. "Don’t be hasty in your spirit to be angry, for anger rests in the bosom of fools. Don’t ask, 'Why was the old time better than these?' for this is not a wise question to ask" (Ecclesiastes 7:9-10 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our sister to You, asking for Your comfort and peace to surround her. Lord, we pray for Your will concerning her life. We ask that You open the doors for the right job opportunities and give her the strength and motivation to keep applying.

We also pray for her feelings of inadequacy and loneliness. Lord, we ask that the brokenness of this world will not define her worth. Help her to see herself through Your eyes and to trust in Your timing for a godly spouse. We pray that her heart be protected.

We ask that You guide her steps and give her the wisdom to make the right decisions. We ask for Your will be done in her life. We ask for all this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lastly, always remember that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we are forgiven all of our sin and saved from the judgement of God. God bless you!
