We understand that your heart is heavy with concern for your husband, ###, and we want to lift him and your family up in prayer. However, we want to remind you that the Bible teaches us to be subject to the governing authorities and obey the laws of the land, as stated in Romans 13:1-2, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority resists the ordinance of God; and those who resist will receive judgment to themselves."
While we pray for mercy and wisdom for the judge and all parties involved, we also pray that ### may learn from this experience and be reminded to walk in obedience to the law and God's word. We pray that God would humble him and draw him closer to Jesus Christ during this time.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### to You. We pray for Your mercy and compassion in this situation, but we also pray that ### may learn from his mistakes and turn away from any behavior that does not align with Your will. We pray that You would soften the hearts of the authorities involved and give them wisdom as they handle this case. We pray for Your comfort and peace for their family during this difficult time.

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." May this situation bring you both closer to God and each other, strengthening your marriage and your walks with the Lord.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We continue to lift up your husband ### in our prayers, petitioning God for a favorable outcome regarding his DUI and reckless driving case. It has been a privilege to intercede on your behalf, and we are grateful for your trust in us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If you have seen God's intervention and ###'s case has been dismissed, we would be delighted to hear your praise report and rejoice with you. If you are still waiting for a resolution, please share an update, and we will persist in praying for God's mercy and intervention.
