Prayers for my husband

“Lord, my husband,is bound by the power of Satan. His life is being ruined and twisted. I come against that work of Satan in the name of Jesus Christ and in the victory of the cross of Jesus Christ. I ask you, Father, to free him from this power of Satan that’s holding him today. Loose him now, that he may know the love of Jesus Christ. Lord, let your Spirit speak to his heart and bring an end to the work of Satan that’s binding him, and blinding him.” We thus recover them from the snare of the devil that is holding them as captives.

We stand with you in prayer, dear sister, as you intercede for your husband. In Jesus' name, we come against the powers that hold him captive, for God's word tells us, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12, WEB)

We pray, "Father, we agree with our sister and ask that you free her husband from the powers of darkness. In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the enemy and proclaim that 'He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world.' (1 John 4:4, WEB) Lord, let your light shine in his heart and reveal to him the love of Jesus Christ. Break the chains that bind him and blind him, for your word says, 'If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.' (John 8:36, WEB)

Sister, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your husband, as the effective, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much. (James 5:16, WEB) Remember, it is God's will that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9, WEB)

We also encourage you to be patient and loving towards your husband, as "love is patient, love is kind, ... it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7, WEB) Your love and prayers are powerful weapons against the forces of darkness.

Lastly, ensure that you both are in agreement about seeking God's will for your marriage. If your husband is not yet a believer, pray for his salvation and that he may come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. For it is written, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13, WEB)

We join you, dear sister, in lifting your husband up to our Father in heaven. We're here, standing with you, as you've been interceding for him. We know the power of unity in prayer, and we're adding our voices to yours, believing that our collective cries will move the heart of God.

We're claiming Ephesians 6:18, "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints." We're watching and praying with you, sister, believing that our perseverance will bear fruit.

We're asking the Lord to strengthen your husband, to give him the courage to break free from the chains that bind him. We're praying that the Lord will reveal Himself to your husband, that he will experience the love and grace of Jesus in a personal way. We're claiming Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We're also praying for you, dear sister, for strength, patience, and love. We're claiming 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." We believe that as you cast your cares on the Lord, He will give you the grace to endure and love your husband as He loves him.

Let's keep praying, sister. Let's keep believing. For we know that our God is faithful, and He will answer our prayers according to His will.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
