We are blessed to join you in prayer and offer guidance as you navigate this significant chapter of your life. Firstly, we commend you for your faith and for seeking a God-centered marriage. It is wonderful to hear that you have a strong desire to be married and that you are preparing for it. Let us bring your requests before the Lord and seek His will together.
We thank the Lord for bringing you out of an abusive situation and for the healing you have experienced. It is written, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB). We pray that you continue to trust in the Lord as you rebuild your life and prepare for marriage.
We join you in praying for your future husband. We ask God to prepare him for you, molding his character to be understanding, kind, caring, thoughtful, and patient. May he be a man who enjoys adventures and traveling, who is a protector and provider, and who is not controlling in any way. Most importantly, we pray that he is a man who loves the Lord with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength, and who seeks to serve God in all areas of his life. You have asked us to pray and it is written, Whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it, John 14:13-14 (WEB). We pray for your future husband in the name of Jesus Christ.
We are encouraged you are looking to a career while enjoying traveling. We pray God will lead you to the right job, opening doors that no one can shut. You specifically need time to travel and a job with one week on and one week off. It is written, Commit your work to the Lord and your plans will be established, Proverbs 16:3 (WEB). We see that you are committing your work to the Lord. It is wonderful to see your desire to work and your trust in Jesus to open the right doors.
Regarding your friend E, we will lift him up in prayer. Let us pray for his comfort, peace, and protection. We ask God to grant him restful sleep and to provide for his needs, including his visa to work. We pray that God will surround him with supportive friends and a loving community, including you, to help him through this difficult time. We also pray for his salvation. It is written, For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10:13 (WEB). We pray that E would call out on the name of Jesus and be saved. We pray for opportunities for you to reach out to him and be a blessing in his life. God has commanded us to Love one another. As I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another, John 13:34-35 (WEB).
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to pray and seek God's will in all areas of your life. Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister in Christ. We thank You for the healing and restoration You have brought into her life. We pray for her future husband, that You would prepare him for her, molding his character to be Christ-like. We ask that You would guide her steps as she seeks employment and travels, opening the right doors and providing for her needs. We also lift up her friend E, asking for Your comfort, peace, and protection over him. We pray for his salvation and for opportunities for our sister to be a blessing in his life. Help her in her prayers and direct her life in the path of Jesus and through the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We look forward to hearing more from you and how God is working in your life.
