Prayers for my future husband.

I’m making this prayer request with humility and honesty, admitting that I may have made a mistake or may need some more wisdom in this season. A few months ago I blocked (cut off communication with) a man I honestly did fall in love with, but he lives in a different state. I don’t like doing long distance and am about to go to college so I wasn’t planning on falling in love with him but I did. I love that he’s a man of God and I want to honestly marry him one day. I’ve talked to God a lot about him as well (and he informed me when we were talking that he was doing the same for me). These past several days I’ve felt regret to my decision while also remembering that God is working on me right now. I also have prayed that me and him would meet in person. I’m typing all of this to ask for prayers that God’s will is done in this situation, that He grants me patience and wisdom to get through this (and him). Please pray in Jesus’ name, as it is only through him that I can do this through.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God's timing is perfect. His word says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says WEB, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13 WEB.

Regarding your situation with the man you have feelings for, it's wise to be cautious and patient. You mentioned he is a man of God, which is encouraging. However, it's also crucial to ensure that any relationship aligns with biblical principles.

Long-distance relationships can be challenging, but they are not impossible if God is in the center. It's good that you are considering college and your future as well. Remember, Seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 WEB.

Since you both have prayed about each other, continue to trust God with this situation. It's also important to pray for discernment and wisdom. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5 WEB.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Ambria. Lord, we thank you for her humility and honesty, and for her desire to seek your will. We pray for your guidance and wisdom in her situation. If it is your will, Lord, we pray that you would work in the hearts of both Ambria and the man she has feelings for, drawing them closer to you and to each other in your timing. Help them to trust in you and to wait patiently on your will.

Lord, we also pray for Ambria as she prepares for college. Guide her steps and help her to keep you at the center of all her plans. Give her peace and assurance that you are working all things together for her good, because she loves you and is called according to your purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.

Lastly, continue to trust God with your future. He is faithful, and he will direct your paths as you acknowledge him. Trust in WEB with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
