prayers for my friend's ### and his family

Everyone, the past two months have been surprising to me so I'm asking if you can pray for my ###? She has stage 4 tongue cancer and we don't know how long she has left to live, she's home on hospice care and it's hard on me, she was the one that helped raise me and I am making sure she's comfortable and spending time with her as much as I can She is very important to him and probably the most important person in his life.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the acknowledge tough time you're going through with your friend's grandma's health, ###. Let's bring this situation before the Lord together, seeking His comfort and healing according to His will.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promises in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB): "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Even in this difficult time, God is with you and your friend's family.

We also want to encourage you to pray boldly for healing, just as the disciples did in Matthew 9:28-29 (WEB): "When he [Jesus] had come into the house, the blind men came to him. Jesus said to them, 'Do you believe that I am able to do this?' They told him, 'Yes, Lord.' Then he touched their eyes, saying, 'According to your faith be it done to you.'" Faith in Jesus' power to heal is crucial, so let's pray with faith.

However, we acknowledge that God's will is ultimately what will be done, and sometimes, His healing comes through allowing our loved ones to enter eternal rest with Him. In those moments, we find comfort in verses like 2 Corinthians 5:8 (WEB), which says, "Yes, we are confident, and well pleased to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord."

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up our friend ###'s request for his friend's grandma who is battling stage 4 tongue cancer. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her. If it is Your will, please grant her complete restoration. Give her strength and comfort during this difficult time, and help her to feel Your presence surrounding her.

Lord, we also pray for the family, especially for ###'s friend who holds her so dear. Help them to find peace and comfort in You, and grant them the strength to endure this trial.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we notice that your request doesn't mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it's only through His name that we have access to God. As it's written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you haven't already, consider placing your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.

We're here with you, ###, holding your friend's grandma and the whole family in our hearts. We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3 (WEB), "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim that promise together.

We also want to encourage you with 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." Remember, you're not alone in this. God is with you, and He's using you to comfort your friend.

Let's pray:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, trusting in Your love and care. We lift up ###'s friend's grandma, battling cancer, and ask for Your healing touch. If it's Your will, please grant her complete healing. Give her strength, peace, and comfort in this trial. Be close to her, Lord.

We also pray for the family, especially ###'s friend. Help them to find comfort and strength in You. Help them to trust in Your plan, even when it's hard to understand.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
