We join with you, Sister Ambria, in praying for your friend Kendon and his family. We appreciate your desire to get to know him better and your commitment to pray for him. It is commendable that you want to see him fully committed to the Lord.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus, lifting up our sister's friend Kendon. Lord, we ask that You open his eyes and soften his heart. Help him to turn away from the world and its temptations, and to be on fire for You. Give him the wisdom and discernment to know Your will for his life, and if it is Your plan, to lead in a godly courtship.
Lord, we pray that Kendon's intentions would be pure and honorable, not driven by lust, but by a sincere desire to follow Your will. Help him to stay in prayer and in Your Word, seeking Your guidance in all things.
We also lift up Kendon's family. Lord, we ask that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Surround them with godly influences and let them have personal encounters with You.
Father, we thank You for Sister Ambria's heart for Kendon and his family. Give her Your peace and guidance as she navigates this situation. Help her to trust in You and to seek Your will above all else.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Sister Ambria, to continue praying for Kendon and his family. Remember the power of prayer and the promise of Jesus: "Again, truly I tell you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB).
Also, keep in mind the words of the Apostle Paul: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). As you consider this potential courtship, ensure that Kendon shares your faith and commitment to the Lord.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Continue to pray in His name and trust in His will for your life.
