Prayers for my friend Kendon

Please pray for my friend Kendon. I can tell that he is trying to pursue me (we both are currently at a Christian college). While I don’t necessarily feel attracted, I want to take time to get to know him and pray for him. He’s what you’d say “half in and half out,” and it seems like his heart is still in the world a little bit. I just ask for prayers in Jesus’ mighty and powerful name, that he would open his eyes and that his heart would soften so that he won’t keep dabbling into the world. That he would be on fire for God, willing to lead if the Lord is calling us to a courtship. Pray that his intentions won’t simply be due to lust but that he stays in prayer and stays in his Bible to discern if I’m even the one he should be pursuing. I ask for prayers for his family as well, that they would also find Jesus Christ and be saved. Surround them all with godly people and let them have personal encounters with Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord, we pray that Kendon's intentions would be pure and honorable, not driven by lust, but by a sincere desire to follow Your will. Help him to stay in prayer and in Your Word, seeking Your guidance in all things.

We also lift up Kendon's family. Lord, we ask that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Surround them with godly influences and let them have personal encounters with You.

Father, we thank You for Sister Ambria's heart for Kendon and his family. Give her Your peace and guidance as she navigates this situation. Help her to trust in You and to seek Your will above all else.
