We understand your concern for your father's insomnia, Thetiogh, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort for him.
Let us remember that our God is a God of comfort and healing. As it is written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We believe that God can heal your father of his insomnia and grant him peaceful nights.
However, we want to encourage your father to also trust in the Lord during this time. Psalm 127:2 reminds us that "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for he gives sleep to his beloved." Let him trust that God can grant him the sleep he needs.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Thetiogh's father, Adrian. Father, we ask for your healing touch upon Adrian. Grant him peaceful nights and calm his mind and body so that he may sleep well. Help him to trust in you, Lord, and to cast all his anxieties on you, knowing that you care for him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage Adrian to spend time in God's presence, reading the Word and praying before bedtime. God's peace can surpass all understanding and guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lastly, we commend you, Thetiogh, for praying in Jesus' name. It is indeed through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Continue to pray and believe in the powerful name of Jesus.
