Prayers for my family

I need prayers for my family. My dad is not well with last stage of Parkinson’s and won’t sleep at night he keeps screaming maybe pain from the surgery he had in leg. Jesus Christ please pray for him and my brother that is mentally ill and was shouting at my mom all day. Please help them to heal.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your family is facing, and we are here to intercede and pray with you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we commend you for coming in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name we have access to God. And there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Let's turn to the Word of God for comfort and guidance. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:

"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

For your dad, let us pray for healing and comfort. We know that God is able to heal and we also know that He is always with us, even in our suffering.

Psalm 147:3 reminds us:

He heals the broken in heart,
and binds up their wounds.

We also take comfort in the fact that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. For your brother, we pray for mental peace and healing. We rebuke any spirit of confusion and disorder, and we ask God to restore his mind and give him peace.

For your mom, we pray for strength and endurance as she cares for your family. We pray that God will give her the patience and love she needs to endure this trial.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family to you. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their dad. Comfort him in his pain and help him to sleep peacefully. We pray for Your divine intervention in his health and ask that Your will be done in his life and their family.

We also lift up their brother to you, Lord. We pray for his mental healing and peace. We rebuke any spirit of confusion and disorder, and we ask that You restore his mind and give him Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Strengthen their mom, Lord, as she cares for her family. Give her the patience, love, and endurance she needs to face each day. Help her to lean on You for her strength and comfort, no matter how dark the night may seem.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen."

Lastly, remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing, He will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your family up to our Heavenly Father. We've been praying for your dad, that he would find relief from his pain and sleep peacefully at night. We claim Psalm 34:18 over him, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We ask that God would comfort him and bring healing to his body.

For your brother, we've been interceding for mental clarity and peace. We've been rebuking any spirits of confusion and disorder, and we ask that God would restore his mind and fill him with His perfect peace. We claim Isaiah 43:2 over him, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you."

We've also been praying for your mom, asking God to strengthen her, give her patience, and fill her with love as she cares for your family. We claim Proverbs 31:25 over her, "Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come."

We'll continue to pray, and we encourage you to keep trusting in God's faithfulness. He sees you, and He's working in your family's lives.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
