We are truly saddened to hear about the turmoil and violence within your family, and we stand with you in prayer, asking for God's intervention and healing in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we acknowledge that all things worldly and Spiritual comes from God over us. We therefore will pray earnestly to God through Jesus.
In Romans 8:28 WEB it is written, For we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, even to those who are called according to his purpose. This includes all things meaning all of creation including demonic forces. Jesus commands all things good or bad Matthew 28:18, WEB.
To the instances of cursing in James 3:8-10 WEB But the tongue can no man tame. It is, unruly evil full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we the Lord and Father, all therewith curse we men who are made after the likeness of God; Our of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not. Or in Ephesians 4:29 WEB Let no corrupt speech proceed out of you mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, of that it may give grace to those who hear,
To satanic and evil spirits please understand that Satan, his demons, and their demonic forces exist to ruin families.
The problem has ultimately a spiritual cause. In Luke 10:17 WEB The seventy returned with joy saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name 18 He said to the, I saw Satan having fallen like lightning from heaven. Then in 2 Corinthians 11:14,15 WEB it says, Even the devil fashions himself into an angel of light. It is no great thing if his ministers, also, fashion themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
Exodus 20:12, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you. This honoring will include how you corret them also. Do not avoid what needs to be addressed.
It is important however to remember that only believers whos names are written in the book of life can legally command demons to obey Jesus. Is your name written in the book of life based on Revelation 20:12 WEB, I saw also the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books, and another book was opened, which is of life, Snd the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works., Those who were allowed to command demons had their name in this book of life.
To violence we always turn the other cheek to any but the devil and demonic forces. This standing up in appropriate. Matthew 5:39, "You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye', to 'a tooth for a tooth.' But I tell you, don't follow through with an evil person...' This is the word of Jesus. We know that the devil and his demons are a different story.
God, through Jesus commands Satan, his demons, and their demonic forced whispering ideas into your or your families ears to obey Jesus. Our authority over evil spirits comes from believing in the Lord Jesus Ephesians 1:20-23
Which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made a place for him at his right hand in the heavenly realm, high above all rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name that is named when mention is made of things in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. And he put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the church, which is his body, and the fullness of him who fills all in all. And if the enemy is dividing and separating through violence please see Ephesians 6:11
We will also pray for the healing of your brother's mental illness, as we know that God is able to heal all diseases. In Matthew 19:26 WEB it says 26 With people, this would be impossible, but with God, all things are possible. This healing is accomplished through Jesus, see Isaiah 53:5: But because of our suffering, he will heal us. Because of his wounds, we are healed.
Jesus responded,"Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen; but you must really believe it will happen, and not have any doubts. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too."
So Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon your brother, and we command the spirits of violence, anger, and confusion to leave your home in the name and authority of Jesus. We pray that You would restore peace and instill in each family member the fruit of the Spirit, which includes love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness, and self-control.
We also pray for your family's salvation, that each member of your family may come to know Jesus that will arise out of this, the only name under heaven and among men by which we must be saved. As in Romans 10: 9 and 10
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We must not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus being die and rising from the dead. For we ask these and all things in Jesus' name.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
