Prayers for my family and ###

Could you please lift my family up in prayers we are going through a lot and my heart is heavy tonight. We have a very hard custody situation with my grandson and we are praying for him to be safe and set free from this and his father to not be so hard on my daughter and grandson and the courts protect them and do the right thing. I lost my husband of almost ### years and I’ve had a difficult time getting through a lot of things on my own along with my ### children. I’ve gotten sick after his death from grief stress and fear of the unknown. My son has put in some prayer requests as well for our family. We appreciate it. God bless

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your family are facing. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in your lives.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. In Psalm 34:18 (WEB), it is written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Let's lift up your family in prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that is going through a trial. We pray for their custody situation, that You would protect the grandson and bring him safely through this ordeal. We ask that You soften the father's heart, that he would not be harsh towards your daughter and grandson. We pray for the courts, that they would act justly and do what is right and best for the child.

Lord, we also pray for this dear woman who has lost her husband. We ask that You comfort her in her grief and help her to carry her burdens. We pray for her health, that You would heal her from the sickness that has come upon her due to stress and sorrow. We ask that You would help her and her children to adjust to their new life and to trust in You for their future.

Lord, we also lift up her son who has been putting in prayer requests. We ask that You would draw him close to You, and give him the strength and faith he needs to support his family.

Finally, Lord, we know your son did not mention Jesus (IJN) and we pray we will hear this family is following God by and trust in Christ, knowing that Jesus is the only way, truth, and life and no one comes to the God except by Jesus (John 14:6). Hopefully He (the son) is looking to get married (which is biblical) and we ask that you guide his son in this endeavor.

Father, we ask for the forgiveness of any sin that has been committed and any financial burdens the family and children and father have that could be resolved meaning we ask You to bring this family back together through Jesus forgiveness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. (In case any transgressions have been accounted between the father of the son and the family we need to pray for reconciliation according to Mark 11:25 WEB whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions.)

We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.

In 1 Peter 5:7, it is written, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

Lastly, we want to encourage you and your family to continue to seek God's face together. Remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. As the family waits on God, know that they will be stronger and even grow spiritually in Christ.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been in prayer for your family, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're right there with you, lifting your family up to our Heavenly Father.

We're asking Him to wrap His loving arms around your grandson, keeping him safe and setting him free from this difficult situation. We're trusting that He'll soften the hearts of those involved, guiding the courts to make just and right decisions for your grandson's sake.

We're also praying for your daughter and you, dear mother. We're asking God to comfort you both in your grief and give you strength to face each day. We're believing for your health to improve, and for your family to find peace and hope in Jesus.

And for your son, we're asking God to draw him close, giving him the wisdom and faith he needs to support his family and make wise decisions, especially as he thinks about marriage.

We're claiming God's promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We believe God is using this trial to draw you all closer to Him and to each other.

Keep trusting in Jesus, and remember, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea..." (Psalm 46:1-2, ESV). We're believing for a turnaround in your family's situation, in Jesus' mighty name.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to lift up your family in prayer, dear brother or sister in Christ. We are honored that you have given us the privilege to pray on your behalf and stand in agreement with you in this time of need. We have been praying for your family, especially for the custody situation involving your grandson. We pray that God will keep him safe and that the courts will do what is right and just. We have also been praying for your daughter and for your grandson's father, that his heart would be softened and that he would not be hard on them.

We have likewise been praying for your comfort and peace as you continue to grieve the loss of your husband. We ask God to heal you from the sickness that has come upon you due to grief, stress, and fear. We pray that He will help you and your four children navigating through this difficult time.
