We understand your concern for your daughter’s marriage and we’re here to stand with you in prayer. Marriage is a sacred union, as stated in the Bible, "Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate" (Matthew 19:6 WEB).
In times of trouble, it’s important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Let’s pray for your daughter and son-in-law, asking God to guide them and strengthen their bond.
**Prayer:**
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up this daughter and her husband. Lord, you know the struggles they are facing. We ask that you intervene in their marriage, guide their steps, and give them the wisdom to navigate their challenges. Help them to communicate openly and lovingly, to forgive one another, and to seek your will above their own desires.
Father, we pray specifically for your daughter. Give her clarity and a steadfast desire to honor you in her marriage. Help her to understand your purpose for her life and to find peace and joy in her role as a wife. Strengthen their marriage, Lord, and let it be a testimony of your love and faithfulness.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for them and to encourage your daughter to seek God's will for her life and marriage. God promises, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). Also, remember the importance of seeking God’s guidance and living in accordance with His word. As it is written, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB).
Let us also pray that they both come to know Jesus Christ if they haven't already, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father and find salvation. As scripture says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). May they both find comfort and direction in Jesus.
