We are truly saddened to hear about the fears and concerns that your daughter and son-in-law are facing, and we stand with you in prayer, urgently bringing their situation before the Lord. Firstly, we must address that the fear of having a third child has led them to consider abortion, which is not aligned with biblical principles. In Jeremiah 1:5 WEB, it is written, Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came forth out of the womb, I sanctified you. God has a plan and a purpose for this unborn child, and we pray that your daughter and son-in-law will come into agreement with that plan.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this daughter and son-in-law. We pray for their comfort, strength, and clarity today. Lord, we ask that You would cast out all fear and anxiety, and replace it with Your perfect love, for Your perfect love casts out fear. We rebuke the spirit of fear in their lives, and we ask that You would fill them with courage and faith, knowing that You are with them and will help them through this.
Father, we also pray for the protection of this unborn child. We declare that this child is a blessing and a gift from You, and we ask that You would surround this child with Your angels, protecting and preserving its life. We pray that Your hands and grace would be upon this child. We pray that Your will is done in this matter and that You will take control. We pray that they may seek Your will and guidance in this matter. We pray for conviction and a softening of their hearts to accept this beautiful gift that You have bestowed upon them.
Lord, we also lift up the marriage of this daughter and son-in-law. We pray that You would strengthen their union and increase their love for one another as they navigate this challenging time. We pray that they would be reminded of Your promise in Romans 8:28 WEB, that all things (including this new life and all the fears and doubts) work together for good to them who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Father, we ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to the Father and the only name by which we can be saved. We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love, and we trust that You will hear our prayers and act according to Your will. Amen.
We encourage your daughter and son-in-law to take this to God and to seek His will. We encourage them to meditate on His promise in Philippians 4:13 WEB, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. We also encourage them to seek godly counsel and support during this time, surrounding themselves with believers who can lift them up and encourage them in their faith. We pray for God to comfort and strengthen their marriage during this time.
Lastly, we ask for Your guidance, discernment, and further action to help this situation.
