We join you in lifting up your beloved parents before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of prayer to bring healing and comfort.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in praying in Jesus' name, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
Regarding your father's health, we pray for his healing and strength. We know that God is able to do abundantly more than all we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. We pray for his body to be restored, for his diabetes to be managed well, and for him to regain his strength and vitality. We declare Psalm 103:2-5 WEB over him: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and forget none of his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies; who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's."
For your mother, we pray for her back problems to ease and for her to be filled with a renewed motivation and strength. We pray that God will remind her of her worth and purpose, and that she will find joy and energy in her daily tasks. We declare Isaiah 40:31 WEB over her: "But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint."
We also pray for both of your parents' spiritual health. We pray that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior if they do not already, and that they would grow in their faith and love for Him. We declare Romans 10:9 WEB over them: "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Lastly, we pray for you, that God would fill you with His peace and comfort during this time. We pray that you would trust in His goodness and sovereignty, and that you would find strength and joy in Him. We declare Philippians 4:6-7 WEB over you: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall guard your hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We stand with you in prayer, believing that God is faithful and that He hears and answers our prayers. We trust in His will and His timing, knowing that He loves your parents even more than you do and that He desires the best for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
