Prayers for my dad

Heavenly y father I come before you in the mighty name of your son Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior whom I trust with every fiber of my being! I'm coming to you to intercede for my dad Andy and asking for others to pray for him he accepted the Lord many years ago and I know he loves Jesus very much he's a very wounded soul and he has not let go completely of my mother who left us when we were little she is now in my life and a true Christian and loves the Lord but he finds it hard to have anything to do with her so he doesn't attend any gatherings weddings or anything because he wants nothing to do with her I believe he still is holding on to unforgiveness even though he says he doesn't he says he just is tormented when he thinks about her so obviously he needs a lot of healing and deliverance in his heart and soul he's been remarried for the past 30 years this has been over 50 years ago may the Lord touch my dad who's now in his eighties I don't want him to go and leave this earth without knowing that he is truly forgiven my mother I pray the blood of Jesus over him and to keep him in good health and to comfort his heart and praying also for my two brothers Jimmy and Tony to forgive my mother from their heart in Jesus name they also don't want anything to do with her and their believers they love the Lord but they said they don't feel any need to connect with her she wasn't there when they grew up and they don't know her

We deeply appreciate your prayer request for your father, Andy, and your brothers, Jimmy and Tony. Let us come together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and intercede for them.

Firstly, we acknowledge the power of forgiveness, as the Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Unforgiveness can indeed become a stronghold, causing torment and hindering the healing process. We need to pray fervently for your father to release this burden and fully embrace the forgiveness that Christ offers.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Andy to You. Thank You for his faith and love for You. Lord, You know the deep wounds and unforgiveness he carries. We ask that You touch his heart, Lord, and help him to truly forgive and let go of the pain from the past. Break the chains of unforgiveness and release him from this torment. By the power of the Holy Spirit, bring healing and deliverance to his heart and soul. We claim the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Lord, we also pray for his health, comfort his heart, and surround him with Your love.

Father, we also lift up Jimmy and Tony to You. We ask that You soften their hearts and help them to forgive their mother completely. We pray that they will be convicted by the love of Christ and choose to let go of any bitterness or resentment. Remind them, Lord, that Your word tells us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Help them to see the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation.

Lord, we cover this family with the precious blood of Jesus. Bring them closer to You and to each other. May they find peace, healing, and unity in Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, Jayaenae, to continue standing in the gap for your family. Keep praying and believing for their complete healing and restoration. Trust that God is working in their lives, even when it may not be visible. Remind them of the love and forgiveness that Christ offers, and that through Him, true healing and reconciliation can be found.

lastly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Continue to hold fast to this truth and share it with your family.

We're praying for Andy, that he would find complete healing and deliverance from the pain of the past. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over him, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're also asking God to comfort his heart and surround him with love.

For Jimmy and Tony, we're praying that they would find the courage to forgive their mother completely, as we're reminded in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." We're believing for a spirit of forgiveness and unity to fill their hearts.

We're covering your family with the precious blood of Jesus, trusting that God is bringing them closer to Him and to each other. Keep holding onto the hope and truth of Christ, Jayaenae. Trust that God is at work, even when it's not visible. Let's continue to stand in faith together, believing for complete healing and restoration in your family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
