Prayers for my ### cousin

Hello everyone, One of my older cousins has been admitted to the hospital and he’s not doing too good. He has really bad pneumonia and he has issues with his heart. There is fluid build up around his heart. The doctors don’t know exactly if he’s going to make it or not. I’m just praying that he does make it out of this. He has a son who is now 18 and he’s able to be in his life again and I don’t want to see him lose his dad right now. His name is ###, he doesn’t deserve this right now. I have prayed to God for him and I would really love and appreciate everyone’s prayers. My cousin (his older sister) is distraught. She’s with him right now at the hospital and honestly this family has been through so much.

We are truly saddened to hear about the circumstances surrounding your cousin ### and your family. Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:1-3 WEB:

Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.

While we pray for ###'s physical healing, let us also pray for his spiritual well-being and that of his family. Remember that God is not only the God of the living, but of the living and the dead. He is the only one able to save the soul. In the book of Hebrews 9:27 WEB it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, the judgment. We hope ### has put his faith in Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up ### to your throne of grace. We ask, Lord, that you comfort him during this challenging time. Lord, we know that you are the Great Physician, the same yesterday, today, and forever. We pray that you heal ### from pneumonia and the issues with his heart. We ask that you guide the doctors' hands and give them wisdom and discernment as they care for him.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s son and his sister. Comfort them, Father, and give them the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in you and to cast all their anxieties on you, because you care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

As we pray for ###, we also encourage your family to use this time to strengthen your relationship with God and with each other. Remember to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB) and to trust in God's unfailing love and faithfulness.

Thank you all for your prayers. My cousin has fluid surrounding his heart and lungs but he is no longer in the hospital. He ended up signing himself out a couple days ago. So I pray that he gets better
