Prayers for my children to return to God ###

I am asking for prayers for my children, two daughters age ### and ###, and their husband to return to God and give Jesus control of their life. My daughters both accepted Jesus as their savior when they were young; I led my youngest daughter to the Lord at sixteen and my oldest daughter was saved in Sunday school, but neither one will really talk to me about Jesus anymore. My oldest daughter now has decided, from listening to her daughter who from college had changed her beliefs too, that she was saved in church when she was 9, and they both, my daughter and granddaughter, believe the Bible is outdated and there are many ways to God. They are all employed in good jobs and have their own homes, but when I try to explain to them there is only one way to God and Jesus is the way, they don't want to talk about it or listen. I need prayers for ### and ### to return to Jesus and get their children into church and to rededicate their lives and their families to Jesus. I pray every day for this, and they are at times disrespectful to me, and I am praying for our relationships to grow in love. I need your help in praying for my children and asking for prayers. Lahkremer, we join you in your fervent plea for your children and their families. Your steadfast love and concern for their spiritual well-being are evident. Let's align our hearts with God's Word and pray together.

In the Book of Proverbs, we are reminded: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6 WEB) You have planted the seeds of faith in your daughters, and we trust that God will bring them to fruition.

However, we must address the beliefs that have led your daughters and granddaughter astray. The notion that the Bible is outdated and that there are many ways to God contradicts the teachings of Jesus: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." (John 14:6 WEB) It is crucial that they understand the singular path to salvation is through Jesus Christ.

Let us pray:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###, ###, and their families. Lord, you know how much ### longs for their return to you. We ask that you soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of your Word. Draw them back to you, Lord, and help them to see that Jesus is the only way to eternal life.

Lord, we also pray for their relationships with ###. Heal any brokenness and disrespect, and help them to honor their mother as you command in your Word. (Exodus 20:12 WEB) Surround their families with godly influences and bring them into fellowship with believers who will encourage and strengthen their faith.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Continue to stand strong in your faith, ###. Keep praying and trusting God. Remember, even when it seems like your words are falling on deaf ears, God's Word never returns void. (Isaiah 55:11 WEB) Be encouraged by the parable of the persistent widow (Luke 18:1-8 WEB), and keep petitioning God on behalf of your loved ones. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God will bring your daughters and their families back to Him.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
