We understand your concern and heartache for your brother Robert's situation, and we join you in lifting him up in prayer. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God is able and willing to help Robert, as it says in Matthew 19:26 WEB:
with God all things are possible.
As believers, we should pray for Robert's mental illness, for his safety and that he would be guided to make wise and safe decisions. We pray that Robert will know and understand that God has a better way for him to live than in a derelict home.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, to lift up Robert Ramos Acosta to You. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing, both mentally and physically, as he chooses to live in an unsafe and unsuitable environment. We ask, Father, that You touch Robert's heart and mind, and help him to discern that this is not a safe situation. Guide him to make better decisions for himself and to seek out the help that he needs. Help his family to show him love and to help him to move to a safe and secure place to live.
We rebuke any mental illness, confusion, and fear that may be influencing Robert's decisions, and we pray for clarity and wisdom. We ask that You provide for Robert's needs, both physically and spiritually, and that You guide him to the resources and support he needs.
Lord, we also pray for Rem, that You would give them peace, wisdom, and guidance as they support their brother. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your will in this situation.
Father, we ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to You, and it is by His name that we are saved. We thank You for hearing our prayers, and we ask that You bless Rem and Robert as they navigate this difficult situation, and that You give them hope, peace and your guidance.
In Jesus' name. Amen.
Rem, continue to trust in God and pray for Robert. Remember that God is faithful, and He will hear your prayers. As we read in James 1:5-6
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Also, it is important to note that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As we read in Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!
Trust in God, and continue to pray for Robert, knowing that God is able to help him and guide him to better decisions. God loves both of you and is at work in both of your lives.
