Prayers for my brother

I am seeking for help on prayers for my brother, my brother Angel is lost, he is an addict to drugs and was just released from prison after a 10 year sentence. Thank you so much

We are truly saddened to hear about your brother Angel's situation, but we are encouraged that you have reached out for prayer. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

The Bible tells us that everyone has sinned and falls short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23 WEB). We all need salvation through Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again to offer us eternal life (John 3:16 WEB). We encourage you to share this message of hope with your brother.

Regarding his addiction, we believe that deliverance and healing are possible through faith in Jesus Christ. As it says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Angel. Lord, You know his struggles and his pain. We ask that You break the chains of addiction in his life and set him free. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the courage to walk in Your will.

We also pray for his salvation. If Angel has not already accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we pray that You would open his heart to receive Your free gift of salvation today. Send people into his life who can share the gospel with him and disciple him in his walk with You.

Finally, Lord, we pray for Cyndiluu, who has brought this request to us. Give them the wisdom and grace to support Angel in his journey towards recovery and faith. Help them to be a light that points Angel towards You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, for the LORD your God is with you (Joshua 1:9). Keep praying for Angel and trust that God is at work in his life. Share the gospel with him and encourage him to seek godly counsel and community to support him in his recovery.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
