We are truly sorry to hear about your aunt's condition, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support.
Let us trust in the Lord, for He is our healer and our refuge in times of trouble. As it is written in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We can find hope and comfort in the Lord.
Your aunt's health is our focus, and her present medical issue is a serious one. Since it is reported that the Stroke happened already, we continue with addressing that. Strokes are a serious issue and can be a very important time to find new found faith and repentance in Jesus Christ. Her memories and solace in affliction can be found in Christ.
The Bible talks about health and peace in a general sense. In Proverbs 3:7-8 WEB it mentions, "Don't be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." This verse might help to consider what is really lasting.
Alzheimer's and other physical issues of the brain are unfortunately not something keeping someone from receiving Christ and possibly being part of saving faith in the New Covenant. The future of believers is one of the good promised by God. We are a new creation upon receiving Jesus Christ. Since eternal life is involved, it is always good to address in every opportunity. Matthew 19:26: WEB mentions "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Our minds may fail us but God can still move. There may be holes in her memories since she has Alzheimer's, but God can still use those who are infirmed to find Him.
We pray out to you, oh Lord, that You will have mercy on our dear sister and heal her from this stroke. We ask for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and medical staff attending to her, that they may administer the appropriate care she needs. Grant her daughter and granddaughter peace and patience during this difficult time.
We also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being, as she is afflicted by Alzheimer's. What the world see as a burden, God can use as a blessing. May Your love and grace fill her with calming assurance of salvation and a healthy life. You teaching your flock even amongst the diminishing sharpness of mind.If at all possible as well, allow healing to her family members so that they may have support and patience. In Jesus' name, we pray for life, a freshly revived and newly found faith, and good health to come of this, amen.
The Bible, God's holy word, guides us with its timeless wisdom and the help of the Holy Spirit toward making difficult decisions and facing hard situations. This knowledge helps us rectify an unknowledgeable and ungodly situation. May you reach out to God and his people for comfort during this time, and may the renewing of your faith be used to provide answers and hope for your loved ones. Your aunt may move toward a place of knowing God, something that has certain eternal significance.
May your family members be in constant prayer and communication with God and his people, and may they find peace in the Lord during this trying time. As you mentioned the name of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, remember that no other name can give you access to the Father and His compassion. It’s stated in the bible, Acts 4:12: WEB (World Bible Translation) "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
